One of the interests of Archistrategos is in identifying and monetizing intellectual capital and emerging technologies.

In this regard, we recognize two distinct intervention moments:

Upstream Initiatives:

These initiatives meet confidentiality requirements and are suitable for value creation through intellectual property strategy, invention patent drafting, and internationalization planning.
We start at a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 4, post experimental validation. We emphasize the confidentiality requirement. Premature disclosure through publications compromises intellectual property value.

Downstream Initiatives:

These involve existing structures with one or more patents filed within the last 30 months, suitable for international expansion.
Beyond this timeframe, interest wanes due to the irreversibility of choices.

In both cases, Archistrategos Investments and Management FZCO would intervene through its subsidiary, Kyrix Intangible Assets Management FZCO, providing both financial and intellectual capital.

Kyrix Intangible operates across all technological areas and specializes in the development, monetization, and trading of intellectual property assets. Headquartered in the Dubai Silicon Oasis, Kyrix Intangible Assets Management FZCO is an intellectual property firm that implements IP strategies in alignment with the overarching business strategies of Archistrategos investment partners, selected independent clients, and its own research and development initiatives. Their comprehensive support includes advice, prosecution, and management across all forms of intellectual property, with a particular emphasis on industrial invention patents.

How we are different

At Archistrategos, our investment approach differs from that of banks, venture capital firms, or private equity firms. Instead of fixed-sum equity exchanges, we tailor investments to each partner’s unique situation, gradually adding value over time. Our contributions include intellectual capital (e.g., strategic guidance and management through Archistrategos; patent drafting, prosecution, and monetization through Kyrix Intangible) and financial capital (ranging from zero up to $250,000) distributed across stages.

Collaterals and Flexibility

We prioritize different collateral types, including patent applications, and operate with contracts containing real options to enhance flexibility and mitigate risks. Our adaptable approach allows us to build customized solutions as needed. Our investments can take the form of loans, convertible loans, or shares, and we actively engage by providing knowledge, experience and networking support. Depending on the circumstances, Archistrategos may request seats on the Board of Directors of the companies we support and appoint Directors.

How we stand out

This mix of consultancy, investments, management and IP is why Archistrategos stands out. In cases where there is an interest in investment partnerships, our consultancy fees can be structured as a convertible loan, which may be converted into equity at a later stage. Additionally, Archistrategos can engage Kyrix Intangible for specialized services, and the fees for Kyrix Intangible’s services, paid by Archistrategos, can also be incorporated into the convertible loan arrangement.

Our Name

Archistrategos takes its name from the title owned by Archangel Michael.

At pre-seed stage, or at seed stage, or at a later stage, Archistrategos operates as a business angel, or - better- as a business archangel!

We operate as an Archangel when we lead coalitions of Angels.
